Children love building snowmen. When they add a nose, eyes, and mouth to their snowman, they get a magical feeling that their snowman has his own personality.
And… sometimes snowmen do come alive!
Charlotte wakes up and sees that it’s snowing… it’s snowing and it’s snowing. She runs outside to build a snowman. She fixes a carrot for the snowman’s nose, a stick for his mouth, and two stones for his eyes.
But the snowman has many demands, so Charlotte has to part with her gloves, scarf and hat; so her snowman wouldn’t feel cold. But the sun comes up all of a sudden, and Charlotte cannot find her snowman anymore. She is sad. Then, she learns that her snowman hasn’t disappeared completely, but is hiding in the ground, waiting to emerge next winter.
A great book for those children who miss their much loved snowman when winter is over.

Lainey Dee was born in Birmingham, (UK) and raised in Kidderminster, Worcestershire. She has always been passionate about children, making her career choice an obvious decision. Lainey is an accredited nanny and holds the NNEB Certificate. She has worked with children both in nurseries and as a private
nanny for many years. Lainey considers herself an old soul. She is living her dream in a house built in the 1930s and has decorated it in that period’s style.
She discovered the inspiration to write while caring for young Charlotte. Surrounded by books, Lainey and Charlotte bonded over many stories and adventures for many years. So enamoured was she, Lainey took creative writing classes to strengthen her skills. She finished her first book during lockdown and credits the contents of her bookshelves, in her house, as the catalyst for sending her on her writing journey. She currently takes care of a pair of two year old twins and uses some of her time and inspiration to create compelling characters and outlandish tales every child will love. She hopes to inspire others with her gift.
She enjoys the simple pleasures in life. Before Covid 19, Lainey could often be spotted at museums, out walking, hosting dinner parties, and so much more. Her fondness for baking cakes is almost as well known as her proclivity for taking spur of the moment trips to visit new towns and take in different theatre shows. She has recently started to resume some of her favourite pastimes since lockdown has been lifted. She is both caring and compassionate and hopes one day to look back and say she had a
small part in helping children grow up with the same sense of wonder she has felt all her life.
